Full day: $1100

Topics covered include:

  • Frame inspection and preparation.
  • Proper frame mounting.
  • Machine/Tool types.
  • String composition and characteristics.
  • Standard stringing patterns, techniques and knots.
  • Grommet replacement.
  • Grip installation.
  • Problem avoidance.
  • Business setup; what to charge and stock.
  • Introduction to membership of the ERSA/USRSA.

Pro-Shop/Club Stringer

Half day: $550

Topics covered include:

  • Speed stringing techniques.
  • Gut stringing techniques.
  • Machine calibration and maintenance.
  • Grommet replacement.
  • Grip installation.
  • Hybrid stringing.
  • Special stringing patterns.

Tournament Stringer

Half day: $550

For experienced stringers, aspiring to develop their skills necessary for stringing in a tournament environment.

To get the maximum value from this course, you must be a very experienced stringer.

Learn from one of the world's most experienced racquets technicians and gain a unique insight into the skills required to perform consistently and efficiently under the stresses and strains of tournament conditions.

Topserve Racquet Technician Qualification

Two day course: $3500

This is a unique cooperative arrangement with larger tennis centres to train their Pro-Shop staff to enable them to provide a quality stringing service as well as professional racquet selection advice.

  • Pro-Shop/Club Stringer course ... plus
  • Providing advice on Racquet selection for juniors.
  • Racquet selection / demos for advanced players.
  • Parameters of a tennis racquet and how they influence performance.
  • Racquet customisation and optimisation.
  • Providing advice on String selection and tension.
  • Proper base grip and overgrip installation.
